Alexandria’s First In-Facility Dialysis Unit Opens at Woodbine Rehab

Woodbine Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Alexandria has opened a state-of-the-art, nine-chair in-facility dialysis unit, the first in the city capable of treating ventilator and tracheostomy-dependent patients. The unit, developed in partnership with Nova Dialysis, enhances Woodbine’s chronic kidney disease (CKD) management program led by nephrologist Dr. V. Bala Subramanian. This milestone aligns with the center’s ongoing multi-million-dollar renovations and its reputation for excellence, including a Five-Star CMS rating and recognition as one of America’s Best Nursing Homes by Newsweek.
