Beautiful Blankets from the Sheriff’s Office Knitting Project!

Thank you to the Alexandria Sheriff’s Office, City of Alexandria, Virginia Sheriff’s Department for delivering blankets for the Residents here at Woodbine last Friday. This is the third time that the Sherriff’s Department has brought these beautiful blankets to our residents this winter! This is part of the Sheriff’s Office knitting project, where inmates knit blankets as part of their rehabilitation and deliver them to City of Alexandria residents.

A special thanks to those who knitted these beautiful blankets and to the City of Alexandria Sherriff’s Department and especially Gloria Wright (Program Manager), Krista Sofonia (GED instructor) and Deputy Bell for always thinking of our Residents and delivering the blankets!
